Contact Enrichment Strategies

You've identified a company. Now what? Knowing which company is visiting is only half the equation — you also need to reach the right person at that company. That's where contact enrichment comes in.

What Is Contact Enrichment?

Contact enrichment is the process of appending decision-maker contact information — name, title, email, LinkedIn URL — to the company records you've identified through visitor intelligence. It bridges the gap between "we know Company X is interested" and "we know Sarah, the VP of Sales at Company X, is the right person to contact."

The Enrichment Data Stack

Modern enrichment typically combines several data sources:

  • Firmographic databases — ZoomInfo, Apollo, Clearbit, and similar providers maintain databases of contacts matched to company records
  • LinkedIn intelligence — Title, seniority, and job function data scraped and structured from professional profiles
  • Email waterfall providers — Services like Hunter, Snov.io, or Prospeo verify email addresses against multiple sources
  • Native Kopimore enrichment — Kopimore automatically appends firmographic data and, where available, decision-maker contacts to identified accounts

Who to Enrich For

Not every job title is worth enriching. The right contacts depend on what you sell:

  • Sales-led products: VP Sales, CRO, Sales Ops, Head of Revenue
  • Marketing tools: CMO, VP Marketing, Demand Gen, Marketing Ops
  • Developer tools: CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Platform
  • HR/recruiting software: CHRO, VP People, Head of Talent

Resist the urge to enrich for everyone. A tight contact list of 2–3 key titles per account outperforms a sprawling list of 10+ every time.

Enrichment Match Rates

Not every identified company will yield enriched contacts. Expect:

  • Large enterprise accounts: 85–95% contact match rate
  • Mid-market: 70–85%
  • SMB (<50 employees): 40–65%

For companies where enrichment fails, LinkedIn manual lookup is the fallback. The signal (their visit) is strong enough to justify 5 minutes of research.

Setting Up Enrichment in Kopimore

In your Kopimore dashboard, navigate to Integrations → Enrichment. Connect your preferred enrichment provider (or use Kopimore's native enrichment). Configure the contact titles you want to target in the enrichment settings panel. From that point, every new identified account will automatically have decision-maker contacts appended where available.

Key Takeaways
  • Enrich for 2–3 specific decision-maker titles, not every contact
  • Match rates vary significantly by company size — plan accordingly
  • Kopimore's native enrichment works automatically on identified accounts
  • For enrichment failures, LinkedIn lookup is justified by the intent signal
